How long should the application take?

We're asking you to spend about 20 minutes completing the application, but this isn't a grammar test. Come as your authentic self. Share your story. It's enough.

Is there an advantage to applying early?

Yes! We do have other tasks to attend to, but we will review applications as time allows prior to the May 20th deadline. If we process your application early, we may offer you an early bird interview or coaching session. In fact, our first batch of early bird invitations went out May 6th.

Do I need to be a U.S. citizen to apply?

Nope. You do need to be living in North America for the duration of the scholarship.

What is Awesome coaching?

You can learn more about Awesome coaching and how our approach is different by checking out our coaching pages

Who are the coaches?

Awesome coaches are entrepreneurs with coaching experience. Awesome’s inner circle coaches come from a variety of backgrounds but also have coaching experience. Learn more about our founding coaches here. Coaches will select scholarship recipients based on applications. If chosen, you’ll with have an initial session with your coach to make sure the fit is right for both of you.

How much will coaching cost with a scholarship?

Scholarships give you access to coaching at sliding scale pricing, based on your company’s revenue. It will likely feel a little painful: enough to help you remember to do the work but not enough to break the bank.

Why are the scholarships only for 12 weeks?

When we started the Awesome scholarship, we started by offering a single, one-year opportunity. In expanding the program, we wanted to encourage coaches to partake while respecting their right to earn a living.

Why is the application process so long?

Because it should be. The application process helps us build a foundation for clear expectations and mutual respect between coach and client.

These questions reflect entrepreneurs' questions from previous years; we will update the page with additional questions from 2016 applicants as they come in.
